Many times, some students ask me: why do you speak like this in Argentina? and their phrase continues «I should have gone to another country for studying Spanish as they speak more like in Spain or at least is easier to understand». I have to say that is absolutely true!. We speak, -according to the linguists- with the accent of the italian influence we had in 1900 when the italians, mainly from Naples arrived in Argentina looking for better economic perspectives and scaping from the war. If you come to Argentina, you know that we speak with more accent in the LL pronouncing it like sh and that makes a big difference in our pronounciation if we compare it to the rest of Latin America, the music in our speaking is clearly italian, specially when it comes to the inhabitants from Buenos Aires are and Patagonia areas.
Also, something interesting is the informal way we use for the second person, when everywhere in the Spanish Speaking World is «Tú», in Argentina is «Vos», this makes a difference in the Spanish conjugation of the verbs in the present tense, the imperativo form and the subjunctive in the present. So, thi is what you need to know in order to conjugate the second form vos, the informal you in Argentina: El «voseo» de Argentina. The «Vos» use of Argentina, learn how to build it and how to sound like an argie:

The VOS form never turns irregular!!
• Las formas del voseo nunca presentan irregularidades como la diptongación.
Ej.: Vos tenés muchos amigos. (Tú tienes muchos amigos.)
• Para el OD, para el OI y para los verbos pronominales, se usa el pronombre te. Los
prohombres posesivos son los mismos que se usan con “tú”.
Ej.: ¿A vos no te gusta el vino? (¿A ti no te gusta el vino?)
• Después de preposición se utiliza vos y no ti. Ej.: Vino por vos.
