About Gisela

Language is a doorway into culture.

Hi, I’m Gisela. For almost 20 years, I’ve been helping students from around the world build confidence in Spanish and communicate naturally, effectively and with a deeper understanding of the culture behind the language.

With a background in Journalism and Social Communication, a Posgraduate in Education and New Technologies and a Diploma in Proofreading in International Spanish I found a natural way to bring my passion for language, communication and culture together through teaching.

I have just finished my Máster Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at The Catholic University of Argentina and I was previously trained at International House Buenos Aires then I have continued developing my expertise through teacher training and ongoing exploration of innovative teaching methods, resources and digital tools.

Being a qualified Spanish-language proofreader took me to an additional level of linguistic expertise and attention to detail to my teaching.

My approach is personalized, practical and engaging: every student learns differently, and every lesson should have a clear purpose.
