About Gisela
Language is a doorway into culture.
Hi, I’m Gisela. For almost 20 years, I’ve helped students from around the world build confidence in Spanish and communicate naturally, effectively and with a deeper understanding of the culture behind the language.
My background combines language, communication and education. I studied Journalism and Social Communication, completed postgraduate studies in Education and New Technologies, and hold a Diploma in International Spanish Proofreading.
I recently completed my Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (UCA), building on my earlier teacher training at International House Buenos Aires.
My training as a Spanish-language proofreader has also given me a deeper understanding of how Spanish works—from grammar and vocabulary to style, nuance and the way people actually communicate.
But good teaching is about more than qualifications. Every student learns differently.
That’s why my approach is personal, practical and engaging. I design each lesson around your level, interests and goals, helping you use Spanish with greater confidence in real-life situations.
